I’m Dr. Hannah M Grossman.
I am an applied learning scientist. I frame my reasoning in collaborative cognitive science and my design in community contexts and participatory processes. This blog is an attempt to share knowledge resources and capitals, to spark creative explorations and amplify ideas I find meaningful.
My work is at the intersection of applied cognitive science, trauma-informed practice, social emotional learning, adult education, ecological systems thinking, community-based practice, complexity frameworks, and human-AI collaborative reasoning.
As a professional, I am the program leader for the Core Curriculum on Childhood Trauma through the National Center on Childhood Trauma. I have my PhD in Cultural Perspectives and Comparative Education with an interdisciplinary cognitive science emphasis from UC Santa Barbara. My work is primarily applied but I still enjoy crossing into academic spaces.
